Juan`s Mexican Restaurant in Fort Smitd

Went there to celebrate with friends. It was not busy, there was us and 2 other tables taken. We had a group of 7 and my friend and I's orders were incorrect, we ordered no shrimp in our burritos and they brought us shrimp. My two friends ordered refills on their beers and took 45 minutes to get a refill. We ordered queso and got Rotel chip and dip, not queso. Our food was barely warm when got it and didnt have much flavor. You want flavor and good service? Go to La Huerta's down the road. They will take care of you

When I come to town, Juan"s is Always Always my go too place with my friends. The staff are always pleasant and ready with refills, the environment is comforting, cozy and relaxing. Time sure flies when your catching up with friends and sharing cheese dip😁 Ooh and did I mention??? The food, especially the Chilie Realano, is spectacular!!!!

Very disappointing. Got the fajitas. You can get larger portions and better quality almost anywhere else. Don’t believe any of the positive feedback on here, it was just not good.

Our family has eaten at Juan’s for many years and always enjoyed our visits. We had dinner there Saturday 3-9-19 and as always chips and salsa are the best, however very disappointed when our Chile rellanos arrived at our table were not even warm, the cheese on the inside was not even melted. Asked for a to go box and brought them home and heated up to be able to eat. Sorry new management but unacceptable. Thank You.

8-20-2019 Had lunch today, Chili Relleno with Beef Taco on the side. Now I have been going to Jaun's for years, always a good solid meal. But something has changed in the food, two things I noticed. The beef in the taco had a strange or different taste. I'm not really sure what it was. The Chili Relleno was very different altogether. Either it was way undercooked, or they have a different supplier. The cheese on the inside was soft, melted but not hot. The outside was a perfect tube shape with identical rounded ends, like it came out of a mold. It was soft, had no crunch at all. Previously the Chili Rellenos were longer and a little larger diameter. They would always sit diagonal on the plate, this one wasn't as long as the plate was wide. Jaun's has never been a "real Mexican Restaurant" but it had its followers. I am one of those followers, and I will be back. I hope they can improve just a little.

Food is pretty good I still love la Huerta on Roger's Avenue more.

I’m not a complainer. But I’ve eaten better. Ordered chicken fajita nachos. It was a plate of chips with melted cheddar cheese (not cheese sauce) and no kidding about 10 small bite size pieces of chicken. My husband ordered chicken steak fajita. There wasn’t any flavor to either of our meals We were really disappointed. This was our first time to eat here.

Not sure where these cooks are from but the food is greasy and bad. I just spent over $55.00 worth of and couldn't even eat it. I will seek out another place to eat

Been going here since I was a kid. Love the food and the friendly atmosphere. Best chips and salsa in town. Service is always quick and I've never been disappointed.

Good food. I have always liked the food here. The only thing that seems to have changed is the salsa, it has to much of a tomato sauce taste. My opinion is it needs more spice. Other than that everything else was great.

A cold TV dinner would of been better. In fact I'm positive it would of because it wouldn't of cost 35.xx for 2 people to eat it. I give review all the time everywhere and this by far was one of the worst. All I could taste once I got past the cold oily film was chili powder. I will not be back and I suggest others save their money and go elsewhere or just buy the TV dinner.

The hamburger meat they fix with their food is nasty.. The hamburger meat is like rubbery texture with bowel movement taste.

I have literately traveled the world and by far the unique taste of the salsa and cheese sauce made at Juan's is still the best I have ever had. Small place food is ok, but to me you go for the chips and dip, and any time I am in the area I will make a point to stop in and enjoy myself!!!!

Food is good if you can get past the service

The advertisements sings " the real taste of Mexico is Juan's". Do Mexicans eat generic TV dinners? The food is horrible and should not be served. Nothing is authentic or fresh!!!! The food looked awful and tasted worse. I'm sad that a business is willing to serve such grotesque food. The positive post on here must hold a nostalgic valve and/or a special moment or memory in time that make them like this place. The food is HORRIBLE!!!!!!

Yeah, no. If you like chips and salsa, and only chips and salsa, you're golden. If you want better mexican, check out Lean Cuisine

The sauce was bland and the chips were really thin. The chips had no tatse. However, the service was awesome!!!!

It was just so-so. My wife's shrimp quesadilla was. Well it was just good. My chilli relleno and enchilada plate was something better found in the frozen food aisle at your local Wal-Mart. The service was ok at first but a second margarita didn't happen. My wife was asked if she wanted more ice tea in a fast drive-by. I was finally asked if I wanted another margarita as we was standing up to leave. All in all the salsa was good. But as I said before it was just good.

Horrible place to eat. Prices are expensive, portions are small, and the food was bland. The restaurant is very small, tables are set next to the entrance where it is crowded with customers and one table is set next to the restroom. we were seated and were only given one set of silverware for two. The chips and salsa were free but tasted horrible, chips were thin with no flavor and the salsa was very sour. Once the menu was given to us we didn’t have very many options to choose from and the prices are outrageous. Once we settled on our food, we were given the wrong food the first time. It’s a very small plate with small food. Highly recommend to skip this restaurant and go to a la Huerta or la fiesta.

Love Tuesday taco day how ever the host acts like I'm taking advantage of them cause I want to order tacos for my employees he said I could only order 5 at a time so I have myself and two of my employees call in separate orders to ensure everyone gets at lease two tacos each um ? They act like I'm a bad guy cause I like to reward my employees also we were getting Chip's and salsa now he said they aren't included in the dinner special I understand that but his attitude. I understand being a business owner my self about making money but we didn't offer the special they did .Like I said they treated myself and my employees like a nunce in stead of someone helping them paying their bills. We always try to buy local not the big chains . Love Tuesday tacos at Juan's great food .

Not the BEST mexican food around, but a solid place to go if youre hungry and on a budget. Ive never had bad food here, its always the same noon or night. Been eating here for years!!

The chips and salsa are great. Burritos, rellenos, enchiladas are favorites as well. Never pass up an opportunity to eat here.

Food was cold and looked like was warmed up in a microwave but waiter was great.

I would totally kill for the sopas! I am from Fortsmith but I live in Dalton Ga now and every single time I visit family I stop here just for the sopas alone!!! This place is a part of my childhood for sure and I am glad to see it is still open and doing well!!! If you guys ever wanted to mail me my most favorite desert I wouldn't be disappointed lol

I got the all meat burrito with cheese sauce on it & it was delicious. Their chips & salsa are great. The employees were friendly & checked on us regularly and the restaurant was clean. Can't wait to go back.

The hot water tank was out, but I was able to dine there on styrofoam. The food was delicious. It was like a picnic, but inside...
